The Green Bay Packers Foundation on Tuesday awarded Madison Reading Project a major financial grant to bring more free books to children throughout the Dane County area in the coming year. Accepting the award from former Packers Super Bowl XXXI strong safety LeRoy Butler are Rowan Childs, MRP executive director and Tom Kobinsky, MRP grants/development coordinator. Madison Reading Project connects communities with free books and literacy resources that ignite a love for reading and affirm and reflect the diversity of young readers.
