Independent Banker magazine, the award-winning monthly publication of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), has announced its 40 Under 40 Class of 2022: Emerging Community Bank Leaders. According to the ICBA website, the “Emerging Community Bank Leaders competition highlights the achievements of young community bankers across the nation. From innovators and digital bankers to mentors and educational advocates, these bankers are making a profound impact on their communities. Our 2022 winners are leading the charge on the future of community banking.”
Capitol Bank is proud to announce that Ami Myrland, SVP/CFO has received this award, selected amongst 39 other bankers from across the United States. Ami joined Capitol Bank in 2019 and in her role as CFO oversees accounting, Human Resources and IT. Ami has over 15 years of experience in banking.
Ami holds a Bachelors degree from Edgewood College, Madison and will complete Graduate School of Banking at UW-Madison in 2023. Ami was also named to the In Business Class of 2019.
Ami gives back to the Madison community through her involvement on the American Family Children’s Hospital CATCH (Community Around the Children’s Hospital) board. In addition, Ami serves on the FHLB of Chicago Member Advisory Board, the Habitat For Humanity Finance Committee, Wisconsin Bankers Foundation Board, S&P Global Market Intelligence Community Bankers Conference Advisory Board and the Board of Directors Vice Chair for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Wisconsin.
