OktoberFEAST Dinners At Quivey's Grove

 

All month long diners can indulge in a German inspired three course menu as part of Quivey's Grove Oktoberfeast! The Oktoberfeast menu features German favorites like Goulaschsuppe, Weiner Schnitzel, Schweinshaxe, Strudel, and Black Forest Cheese Cake. Waterford Wine & Spirits is bringing a taste of Oktoberfest to Fitchburg! You won't have to travel far to taste some authentic German beers. Stop by Waterford on Saturday, October 26th from 1:00pm-3:00pm to enjoy a carefully chosen selection of Fest biers, representative of the history of Oktoberfest. Apples, Pumpkins, and More

 

For local, Farm-fresh apples, pumpkins, honey, and squash, stop by Eplegaarden, Fitchburg's PYO (pick-your-own) Farm and Orchard. If you'd like to pick your own apples, you can purchase a bag first and fill it with whatever varieties are ripe that day. You can also shop their farm store for their famous apple cider donuts, fresh cider, pre-picked apples, pumpkins, squash, and local honey. Chilly temps and brisk winds make it the perfect season for some cleverly crafted hot beverages with tastes of the season. Tati Co. in Fitchburg has all the traditional favorites that can be sweetened with fall flavors like cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and gingerbread. Oasis Cafe offers not just pumpkin spice lattes, but a delicious London Fog (also known as an Earl Grey Latte) for tea lovers, as well as Matcha Lattes, Chai Lattes, and Miel, made with espresso, steamed milk, honey, and cinnamon.
